Top eight things that played on my mind while I tried to understand New York City. (The Holiday Observation List)

It is very difficult to find clothes that fit, the smallest size is usually large and the largest size is fantastic. Rather than write XXXXL after the "normal" XXL that we have in Ireland, America use numbers to represent the numbers of X’s so XXXXXXL is tagged as being size: 6XL. They is a nation of big motherfuckers.

There are 7.34 times more Lunatics per mile square than there are in Dublin. The average reason in Ireland for crazy people roaming the streets is alcoholism were as in New York the average reason is a mixture of fast food, an education obtained through television and patriotism, so patriotic and they really have no reason to be.

The hot dogs that you can buy on the street are cooked using burning newspapers and the ones in Dublin are cooked using gas.

Only 250000 people protested when George Bush held his NRC in Madison Square Garden in New York. 3 times that many, 750000 protested in Dublin when he came here to visit the European council, ergo the dubs hate the bush more than the yanks.

Starbucks is in NYC and Starbucks is not in Dublin, and there is where NYC clinches the ownership of my young addicted heart.

All the gays and the crazy Jews, so many on the streets of New York and so few on the streets of Dublin, where is the balance? I ask you, where is the balance? And so sparks a pledge "people of Dublin open your hearts and minds and except your fellow man".

The best bridge in Dublin is the Millennium Bridge, because it is a pedestrian bridge, it has only a few, if any, knackers on it, it has a great view of the ha’penny bridge and the recently "done up" Caple Street Bridge and it has cool lights on it. The best bridge in New York is the Brooklyn Bridge, because it has an exciting bike lane that runs beside the pedestrian walk way, it is almost falling apart so no trucks or buses can use it and it has an amazing view of lower Manhattan to the right and the statue of liberty to the left. Despite the fact that these bridges seem equal I prefer the Brooklyn Bridge because it also has no knackers.

Broadway vs O’Connell St. Broadway is the longest street in New York, it runs through Harlem, Little Italy, China town, Time square, Greenwich Village and Soho. O’Connell St. is the widest city street in the world, wider than the champs elisY. The history associated with this street is staggering and so I give this one to O’Connell.
