it was the best of times it was the worst of times. christmas had arrived again, as quickly as it had the previous year and yet for some reason Alan Price felt surprice at its speedy return. the days, although begining to shorten in hours of daylight, had remained mild, and christmas day was no different. the night before, Alan had gone to the Harbour Bar with some friends but was refused admission because the back room of the pub was full to capacity. Sitting in the lounge by the fire with a few pints of guninness in the company of actual friends was more than Alan had expected and far from dissappointment lay the lie of his metaphorical green. Alan had a wonderful evening with Eoin, Dan, Ciaran, Adain, Neil, Cian and Shane. On Christmas morning the electricity failed and in their typical witty way, the people of Rush joked of having only desert and drinks as there was no way of cooking the traditional Turkey for dinner, of course the power returned in time for a splendid meal. in a way it was a blessing in desguise as hunger is the sauce and perhaps the extra few hours wait made all the difference to the rich varioty of tastes on offer. had a laugh with kelly and sarah on stephens day too. not sure what im at for new years so much extremely gay politics between what used to be a tight knit of friends. Girls are shit! except sarah of course!
