Winner of the Copy The Ilim Lads Beard Competition is: SEAN "DE BEARDED" DE BURCA

the greatest weekend ever
wednesday 16th: did grand in my multimedia exam. went home and prepared two yogurts. took the train into town with the lads and sarah. bar, ciara, paul, kallid, mcmunn, briano and welly went to damien dempsey and bones, nails, the hooja, sarah and i went to the chemical brothers. consumed the yogurt. had a nice walk along the keys to the point. had an amazing time. the laser show was excellent. went to mcmunns after.
thursday 17th: woke up. caught the end of the parade(saw the vintage tractors) met sean, who was pissed. started drinking at 1pm. went to kellys. sat out in the sun with a huge gang of people. the conversation was great. grabbed some dinner. went to mcmunns with marko. headed to walshes. stopped drinking at 1am.
friday 18th: went to the cinema to see constantine and recover. it was very good. not what i had expected. it was richy's last night in ireland so i headed over to kellys for a session (nothing too elaborate)
saturday 19th: a possibility of a triple crown, maybe even a six nations. ah well. wicklow was lovely as ever. watched forgotten, its ridiculous.
sunday 20th: drove home from wicklow through the curragh of kildare. it is weird. drove into town with the two sarahs. went for a drink in the hairy lemon, that was cool. the rest of the lads arrived into town later on and we played a gig in whealans, it was a massive success. had a great night. the soundman was very professional and i was tremendously impressed with the venue.
monday 21st: sarah was sick and stayed home from work. we watched kurt and courtney and a knights tale. nice way to wind down after a hectic weekend.

My News
i watched the rugby ireland lost to france so theres the grand slam out the window and cause wales won big it means ireland need to beat the socks off them next week which probably wont happen. bones got his root canal done and got a cool x-ray of his mouth. i bet him at pro-evolution for the first time ever on friday, delighted! the lads are playin a gig in whelans on the sunday after paddys day (this sunday) sean de burkaka got them the gig, hes playin too. they asked me to play percussion so i had a practice with them yesterday and it went well, ciara has a deadly voice and sean really knows how to rock a keyboard. sarah cut sarahs hair, it looks great. i didnt get to see the annabel chong story or kids cause i have been going to bed early these days and as a result im missing out on some serious sleaze. im really looking forward to the chemical brothers on wednesday. mcmunn, nails, feet, the hooj and dane got back from amsterdam and mcmunn seemed to have had a good time there. it doesnt look good as far as the beard results are concerned. i deffinitly lost to sean. the results will be put here after paddys day. welly is still threatening to ruin his rep and put his fro into dreadlocks but i plan on starting a petition. endas 21st was excellent and everyone had an animal time. the chicken was slightly under cooked though.

Eight songs that I wouldn't mind being played at my funeral.

  1. “Here comes the sun” by the Beatles
  2. “Shoot speed kill light” by Primal Scream
  3. “Eternal flame” by The Bangles - the Jackson Five version
  4. “Good Vibrations” by The Beach Boys
  5. “Mr Soul” by Neil Young - the acoustic version
  6. “Its alright Ma I’m only bleedin” by Bob Dylan
  7. "Road House Blues" by The Doors - the animal live version with the intro
  8. "No Shelter" by rage against the machine - performed by Brian Kelly and Glenn Keelan in two part harmony [as the coffin is lowered]

That would be a Dramatic send off !

A Reading from St.Bones to the Price -

Subject: Always look on the bright side of pwice.
Sent: Tue, 03 Aug 2004 11:37:23

Word.Pricemyster you crazy bastard, i was reading your thoughts page and while very funny i do think your constant changing of subject is confusing as fuck to read (but im glad i made your news, i was welling up bro) sorry i havent been onto you in a while but i know de lads were yesterday so your not goin without de info. I was disappointed to read that you thoght my complete lack of organisation would affect de others they're every bit as bad as me but without de wild sense of humour (Barry figures hes well overspent and is rightly fucked- live like a king me arse says he and i for one am inclined to agree, dunno wat Kelly did when he was here but he didn't live like no mutha fuckin king!- but with my new found organisational skills ill be fine livin off bout 12euros a day all included at de mo) shame on the pricemyster for thinking my carelessness and misfortune would antagonise the rush massive! anyway as your doubtless aware we're in Nam at the mo and its Marko's b-day tonite so were planning a very serious sess though perhaps without sweetness cos de lads got sold a bag of sticks last nite (never one to be outdone however Weldinio struck back and scored a proper bag, gotta love de perserverence!) then were off to Saigon or Ho Chi Minh as its now known den cambodia b4 were bak to de kok to infiuriate our lungs and nostrils with its stench and pollution b4 we hit de islands for de next full moon. Thats about de cut of it for now get in touch with us if/when ya can ya chesse eatin grease monkey and send us de Gwiffmyster's e-mail cos i intelligently put it in my phone and left my phone at home (I am organised dammit!!!).
Take care of yourself buddy,
Keep de peace,
Ciao for now,
De Boner (tm)
